Python ''Exception in thread wifiParameters'' error when doing station handover between AP1 and AP2 using handover.py example

Dear Ramon & Team,

When running the example handover.py mobility simulation code and setting a "sta1 ping sta2" ping command it is observed a 100% reproducible Python Assertion Error(Exception in thread wifiParameters) that always occurs during the station1 handover transition point from AP1 to AP2.

Any advice on what could be causing this error? 

I am attaching a picture with more details.

Obs: I am currently using Mininet Wifi Pre configured VM: "[6.7GB Size] - Lubuntu 20.04 x64 - Mininet-WiFi with P4 (pass: wifi)"

Hello Eduardo,

I suggest you to use xterm instead of the mn-wifi CLI. You can also use util/m if you prefer.
