Issue Installing wireless-tools on Ubuntu 25.04

Dear Mininet Community, 

I’m encountering an issue while trying to install Mininet-WiFi on a fresh Ubuntu 25.04 machine. When running: sudo PYTHON=python3 util/install.sh -Wlnfv

The installer fails with: E: Package 'wireless-tools' has no installation candidate

What I’ve Tried: Tested alternatives like iw but Mininet-WiFi still rely on legacy iwconfig

Is there a recommended workaround for Ubuntu 25.04?

I don't recommend using a non-LTS Ubuntu version and I haven't used Ubuntu 25 myself.
