Mininet wifi installation on mac with M1 chip

Hi!
Can anyone let me know how to install mininet wifi through VM on mac with M1 chip , i have tried many ways . Is there any third-party software through which it can be installed ?

Running vanilla ubuntu lts amd64 should be fine as a base.
