WPA3 implementation on Mininet Wifi with Evil twin and DOS attack implementation

Hi there,

I am working on my MSC Projects and would like to know whether WPA3 Authentication possible on Mininet Wi-Fi as I am planning to implement to check Evil Twin Attack and DOS (Denial Of Service).

Any suggestion would be highly appreciated. If Mininet is not the good Emulation for this ? Kindly suggest any other testbed or Emulation Simulation.

Hello,

Mininet-wifi uses wpa_supplicant for wpa authentication. Since wpa_supplicant supports wpa3 you can use it with Mininet-wifi.

Hi There,

I have installed mininet wifi and am working on setting up my test setup for the project. I am trying to use Encryption with WPA2 and later on WPA3.

I can not see the encryption and password when I use the CLI as shown below. Encryption and password are blank although I have set WPA2 as an encryption and password.

That's not the correct way to check encryption. This is a known iwconfig issue. 

Not sure why you are using iwconfig but you should consider using iproute2.

Still regarding the issue, there are many discussions about it on the Internet.
