Any tips on getting rid of the "Welcome to the new way to navigate
Google" notification?

It should go away naturally (Ideally it would go away the first time you open the menu, that's how I would do it anyway.) I don't really know what triggers it to go away. I've gotten it to disappear on 2/4 of my regular computers.
