How do I get rid of the dropdown menu, and get the links from it, into my regular navigation menu? (And is it possible?) Thanks in advance :)

I think you can just drag the items of the dropdown menu outside it, then, with Minimalist Gmail you can hide the dropdown menu (Options > Navigation > Hide more link).
