1) Gmail is the arguably the best email client in the world and you get it for free. It's perfectly fair for them to serve you a couple of ads to pay for it. Remember, if you're not paying for something, you are the product. If you are not comfortable with that, you should not be using Gmail.

2) The ad blocking options are in the "Main" tab of Gmail module options on the Dashboard. If either of those options are not working, please report it in the Issue Tracker: http://code.google.com/p/minimalist/issues

It seems intrusive and unfair that my personal Gmail is bombarded with Advertising, when all I wan't is more space to write emails.

I'm at the point of deleting my Gmail. I hate my Gmail being used as a billboard for these Corporate Advertisers.

Please help!
