Registration Time/Things for the Weekend

Thank you to everyone who has registered for the Minikani Alumni
weekend. We currently have 62 Alumni and 15 children signed up for
the August 22nd - 23rd event. We will also have current staff members
present and ready to volunteer their time during the weekend. In all
we are expecting a great turnout! If you or anyone you know still
wants to register for the weekend, please do so by Saturday, August
8th. While walk-ins are welcome, we want to have as accurate of a
head count as possible for the meals.

A few things to remember.............

1) Please enter Camp Minikani at its new entrance, which is next to
the new Leadership Lodge. Basically, drive to the Range East
campsite and turn into Camp. We will be there to check you in.

2) Should you have cabin requests that you have not mentioned please
let me know as soon as possible. We will be staying in the Boys Unit
and Boys Explorer Unit. If you wish to sleep outside, you are more
than welcome to bring a tent and stay at your favorite spot at Camp.

3) As many of you know, we will be having a campfire! Plan a skit,
sing a song, do whatever. We need some acts so get something together
and show it off!

4) Bring a glove for the softball game - if you have extra please
bring them.

5) Get ready to dance! We will be having a good old Minikani dance
party on the tennis courts to conclude the evening on Saturday.

In a crazy twist I ended up winning a get-together at a bar downtown.  I will be hosting this (very casual, purely social) event the Friday before Alumni Weekend in hopes to extend the fun for just an evening longer.

Time: The drink special goes from 7-10pm.

 

Directions:  Say "Liz Lodl" at the door... this will get you entrance without a cover charge and a wristband for $2 beers, wine, and well drinks. We will be mingling on the patio on the top floor (weather permitting).

 

Please let me know if you can come so I can keep track of numbers.
