Dear Minikani Alumni,

-The Inaugural Minikani Alumni Weekend was a huge success! Over 100
alumni and their families attended the event and the Minikani Spirit
was revived in all.

-We have decided to make this an annual event to be held every summer
the weekend after the summer session closes. Next year's event will be
held August 21-22, so please put it on your calendars now!

-The Interim Minikani Alumni Board is up and running! We are having a
planning year to put together the charter and work on the overall
structure. Again, check out www.minikanistafflodge.com for more
information and minutes from the most recent meetings. Let us know if
you would like to be involved.

-Announcing the Inaugural Minikani Alumni Ball to be held on Saturday,
December 26th, 2009. Stay tuned for more information, but put it on
your calendar! All money raised will go to send children to camp next
summer.

-We will also be annoucing a Fall Work Project Day soon for Alumni to
come back and help out around camp. We'll let you know the date as
soon as we are able to nail one down.

-We NEED a WEB DEVELOPER!!! Do you or anyone you know have advanced
website development knowledge/skills? We need someone to help out a
great organization and donate their time. Contact Perry LaRoque at
perryl...@hotmail.com, if you have any leads.

-We will be starting a huge Recruitment Campaign this Fall to try and
track down EVERY staff member to ever grace Minikani. We'll be
counting on all of you and your sharp memories to track everyone down.

-Finally, thanks to all of you who have helped kick off the Minikani
Alumni Organization, not only those of you who have helped with
planning, but also those of you willing to show up and participate.
This is just the start of what will be a very worthy and noble
organization.
