Dear Group Members,
I would like to ask a few questions about MiniGUI Extended.
What additional benefits would I get if I used the PRO version instead of the Standard one? How can I obtain the PRO version?
If I pay for the PRO version, is it a one-time payment that entitles me to future releases as well, or do I need to pay for each release separately?
Why is it compiled with Borland? As far as I know, Borland is quite an old compiler and no longer supported. (Maybe I’m wrong?)
I managed to compile a small project with Borland 5.8.2, and the grid loading was very slow. With MinGW in HMG 3.4.0, it was much faster. (I'm talking about a grid with approximately 30–50 rows.)
I downloaded the Standard version and tried to compile our existing program (written in HMG 3.4.0), but many parts failed to compile. Among others, hbssl didn’t work either. (For example, even ssl_init() was missing.)
I would write a separate, detailed question about these issues later.
These are the questions that came to mind for now.
Thank you in advance for your replies!
Best regards,
Zsolt
