Hi,

We were very excited about discovering Mingus.

But we are unable to use it fully…we simply do not have the skillsets to understand the build process of Fluid Synth which is very involved and has a lot of dependencies.  While we do understand the C language, we’re not cross-platform build-masters and we’ve Have burned many hours on cmake and the like and am still not successful.

In the end, we are python developers, not C OS level folks.   Could *REALLY* use some help here.

Would it be possible (and would happily pay for the time it would take) to include binaries of Fluidsynth?   In our case Win7 32 and 64 bit DLLs?

For you it would take one minute to do, but for us, many hours.

And I do not think we are unique…when looking for a python solution you are typically dealing with folks that know python and prefer working with the higher level language like that.    Cross platform build and C compiler issues are really a different skillset I don’t think most of us have…

Greatly appreciate your help here…
