Bein the know before you go to The Buddy Holly Hall! Experience shows, concerts and special events at the new, beautiful, state-of-the-art Buddy Holly Hall of Performing Arts and Sciences, built by the community for the community.

Alcohol or illegal substances may not be brought into the venue and may be only be purchased by persons 21 years of age and over with legal identification. Beverages may NOT leave the premises. Approved Sip Cups must be empty of liquids and/or poured out into approved receptacles after the show. The Buddy Holly Hall has sole discretion to stop the sale of alcohol at any time during an event.


Are diaper bags allowed in the venue?

Diapers and other baby supplies can be carried inside a clear bag. Each member of a family, including children, may carry an approved clear bag and/or a clutch purse into the venue.


Why does The Buddy Holly Hall have this policy?

The clear bag policy enables The Buddy Holly Hall security and staff to move guests more quickly through security checkpoints and helps to promote guest safety. Also, many tours require enhanced safety protocols.

The health and safety of our guests and employees are of the utmost importance at The Buddy Holly Hall. As part of ASM Global, The Buddy Holly Hall utilizes the VenueShield program, the gold standard of facility cleanliness.


The doors to the venue typically open one hour prior to an event unless noted otherwise by tour management. Please follow The Buddy Holly Hall on social media or check buddyhollyhall.com for event updates.


Please be aware that traffic and other delays can occur prior to showtime. The Buddy Holly Hall suggests you arrive a minimum of one hour before the start time of a show to avoid traffic, make parking arrangements and find seats. Valet parking will soon be available for a fee, and complimentary parking is available in the parking lots near the theater.


Guests will walk through a magnetometer to be screened at the venue. The Buddy Holly Hall reserves the right to conduct an inspection on any bags, clothing or other Items at entry point at any time. Searching for restricted items is a condition of entry to protect patrons attending an event. Failure to comply magnetometer and bag checks will result in denial of entry into The Buddy Holly Hall.


A trained medical professional is available onsite during most performances and will provide medical attention when necessary. The medical station is located at the Lower Level of The Buddy Holly Hall. Ask event staff for assistance if needed.


Patrons requiring sign language, oral interpreters and/or assisted listening devices or other special needs during an event, should contact the event organizer in advance. The Buddy Holly Hall is not responsible for any items that may be lost during events. All items that are turned in will be placed with Security. Please contact the BHH Box Office at boxo...@buddyhollyhall.com or call (806) 79-BUDDY (792-8339) to inquire about a lost item.


A facial covering over the nose and mouth is recommended for unvaccinated guests due to COVID-19 safety protocols. At the request of the artist, some events MAY REQUIRE guests to wear facial covering over the nose and mouth during the event. Please carefully read information posted for event-specific facial covering guidelines.


To request media and/or photography access to a show, the reporter/photographer must be an accredited member of the press, and media access must be approved by the tour at least two weeks in advance of the event. Please submit your request in writing to the Marketing department at hfi...@buddyhollyhall.com.


General parking is complimentary for most events. Reserved Paid parking is available in the West lot. Parking lots are located near The Buddy Holly Hall at 1300 Mac Davis Lane, Lubbock TX 79401.


A Personal Seat License (PSL) allows patrons to reserve the same seats for all events, plus receive extra benefits such as admission to the VIP lounge before the show. Contact the LEPAA offices at (806) 747-3200 for seat availability and for more information at The Buddy Holly Hall.


All patrons of the Buddy Holly Hall, regardless of age, must have a ticket for admission, including children and infants carried in arms. Strollers are not allowed in the building. Please note that most ticketed events at The Buddy Holly Hall are not appropriate for preschool-age children.


There are no refunds or exchanges of tickets purchased. If an event is cancelled and rescheduled, patrons will receive the new performance information through the email address provided at the point of sale. If a performance is cancelled and is not re-scheduled, The Buddy Holly Hall will issue a full refund.


Scalpers and ticket brokers are not recognized ticketing agents by The Buddy Holly Hall. To avoid issues with counterfeit, stolen or voided tickets, guests should make their purchase through Etix authorized outlets only.
