After the last Sygic update this url launch does not work anymore, it fires up Sygic but no route is calculated any longer.Does anybody have som ideas to overcome this?Is there anyone else that hava this problem and found a solution for it?
Sygic Maps SDK enables you to set custom audio notifications for warnings. If the methods of above mentionedSYNavigationAudioFeedbackDelegate are set to true, there will be played some default set audio notifications. To use your custom ones, you have to use SYAudioSettings class. SYAudioSettings class enables to set customvoice for various cases. You can choose between prerecorded audio files (OGG or WAVE format) or TTS voice.See the SYAudioSettings API reference for more info.
The Sygic Maps SDK for iOS offers real-time traffic flow and congestion overlays. Traffic information can bedisplayed on the SYMapView (where available) by calling the enableTraffic method. While the Sygic Maps SDKrequires a network data connection to download real time traffic information, the visualization may continueto be displayed even if a connection is lost - until the traffic events expire, or the visibility is toggled.
There's a possibility that you would like to show the upcoming restrictions directly in the map so that thedriver sees it and is aware of the road. These restrictions contain types such as whether the roadis a blind road, if it is prohibited to turn there, or what the maximum weight is.Since SDK 21.6.0 it is possible to directly add the Vehicle Aid Info object to the map:
Downloading maps offline is a great way to cut down the internet traffic consumed by the navigation. In some cases you may find yourself in a place where no internet data access is present or it may be too slow to use comfortably. To prepare for such situation we recommend using offline maps capabilities of some of the popular mapping apps.
Try Nokia HERE maps guys. Works totally offline, while finding route AND navigating.. is reliable and light.. and free! As a bonus, also shows speed limits for the road. I wish it had lane guidance and speed/red camera alert but i think it is getting there..
Having said that, there are quite a few bugs with sygic that should be resolved, like flickering issue after calculating a route or the very small erronous calculated route when choosing fastest route (almost insignificant as it only takes from you sometimes 1 or 2 minutes when that happens).
When the street address is typed in the search bar, the App predicts the street name (which is good), but then simply predicts the street as somewhere in various cities (e.g. Brisbane, for example). The App does not, and will not list the possible suburbs where the street is located meaning that if you select the desired street name, then its more than likely the App will take you to the street name but in a suburb (on the other side of town). Geez Sygic, wake-up to yourself!!!
I tried using it to get used to the interface one day on the way home from one of the accounts that I assist at. There is a direct route using the interstate freeway for about 3 miles that is the quickest most direct route. This route typically takes me about 15 minutes to travel home. Sygic routing said it would 31 minutes to arrive!
I use Sygic as a back up for my Tomtom gps. I originally thought it would be a substitute till I noticed how it gives me much longer routes than my Tomtom. The route calculation is a mess, aside from occasional crashes that are only fixed by restarting my smartphone. I will stick to my gps and only use sygic for short distances and as back up. Unless there is a good route calculating app, I will keep my Tomtom gps and even when it eventually stops working, I will still buy another gps as opposed to using my smartphone.
I moved from Seattle to Utah recently and the speed limit here is 85 on the highway, 50 on the main road that all businesses are located. I am new to using GPS while driving since I never needed a car in Seattle. I am taking my life in my hands at 50mph when I try and figure out which parking lot exactly Google is talking about. There are turn-ins every 50 feet!
Edit: Seeing the comments, I have coined this question as a bug report. I do not know, who is responsible for the bug (i.e. does not adhere to standards), Sygic or Jolla or even both. However, the same version of Sygic is working normally on an Android tablet (without Internet access while traveling).
CLOSE Sygic or be sure it's not running (in the background). If needed, copy settings.ini (/data/sdcard/sygic/android) to a place where it is certainly editable.Open settings.ini with tinyedit or another app. Maybe it's editable on pc?
Save the file, and (if needed) place it back to /data/sdcard/sygic/android. (It could be you need to use "save as" in tinyedit. Fill in a name, chance is your file will be saved to /home/nemo/documents)Delete "settings2.dat", also located in /data/sdcard/sygic/android
If you don'r remove the maps: Sygic will not go on to it's next menu after selecting countries (that's what I've encountered). If you do not remove settings2.dat, the change of the settings.ini file has no remarkable effect. If you don't fill in your IMEI, Sygic will give a notice about invalid license or something and your only option is to quit.enter code here
When you are able to "unpackage" and "repackage" APK you can use JBE (Java Bytecode Editor) tochange the bytecode as follows: in class com.sygic.aura.clazz.SatelliteInfo, in the second constructor ( method)change bytecode instruction at line 25 (the line before putfield com/sygic/aura/clazz/SatelliteInfo/nInUse I) from iload_2 to iconst_1 save method and rebuild package
Not at all regarding tweaking Sygic, sorry, But giving up on sygic myself (after 5y of usage since 5800xm times) and testing ALL available android navis, i have to recommend Navfree. It uses convinient in-app downloadable Open Street Maps and is very reliable on my Jolla. I am using it multiple times a day now. Only the splashscreen and icon are ugly, navscreen itself is quite pretty ;)
I was looking into sygic on jolla as well, and stumbled onto this thread. Don't have a jolla phone, and am impatiently waiting for my tablet to be shipped in a few weeks. Sygic is one of the apps I would really love to see working, however I will remember navmii as well and check that too. Whatever works :-)
In case you are in a hurry and really need to get in touch with Sygic customer support as soon as possible, you can do so by sending an email to urgent...@sygic.com. This e-mail is only for urgent cases, which means that you cannot run the application at all, or if it is completely non-functional. In that case, describe to us exactly what the problem is and provide information about your device and the installed Sygic application as well:
Hi!
I also have a sygic installation, but on android. For me, the export via this strange URL-format did never work. Sygic never took this files. I had to manage it with a few steps, ending up with an ITF file which has to be stored deep down in the structures of an android file system.
If you want to save the location temporarily, e.g. you want to save the location, where you parked your vehicle in the area you do not know, there is no need to add it to favourites and then delete it.
Just tap on an arrow in the navigation screen and the action menu will appear.
Tap on Save current position to save it.

I've a new Lollipop smartphone (LG Spirit), i've Sygic Gps, but when i download maps, Android save it to internal memory. I've moved them to sd card (cut and paste), but when i start sygic it asks again which maps i would like to download. Is there an hack i can do to make it work ?
Now, obviously, fully reviewing a navigation solution requires hundreds, if not thousands of miles on real roads, and as densely obstructed as possible, in order to test traffic and other sub-functions. That will take a while. Add the 'beta' nature and it's clear that this is only a 'first impressions' - it'll give you an idea of what to expect, though as it's also a free download there's no reason why you can't grab it too and make up your own mind.
Again, you can grab this in the Store if you want to play (and compare with Windows 10 Maps) yourself. Is there a market for Sygic for 2016? Not really. Looking at just the Windows 10 Mobile platform, Windows Maps (based on Nokia/HERE Maps, but with tweaks of its own) has 98% the functionality, comes with the OS, includes traffic awareness, offline maps, and so on, and is free forever. How can any third party offering compete with that?
That Sygic fails here is partly that its very existence is called into question by Microsoft, Google and Apple, and partly that it hasn't tested or streamlined enough here on Windows 10 Mobile. Perhaps worth a look again in a few months, once Windows Maps itself has settled down too?
1. First download the one in play store, launch and download any map you want.
2. Open android/data/com.sygic.aura/file
3. Copy map and save it to any preferable location.
4. Uninstall the one from play store.
5. Install the cracked one and open
6. Replaced the map from the cracked one folder com.sygic.aura for the saved one.
7.now copy content on com.sygic.aura to
android/data/com.sygic.aura/file
Enjoy
