Some sites may ask to use your location to provide localized features, such as reviews for nearby shops or coupons from businesses located in your area. To do this, these sites may ask you to allow geolocation on the page. You can choose whether or not to share your location when browsing. Opera will not share this information without your permission.

If you connect a musical instrument digital interface (MIDI) device to your computer, such as a keyboard or controller, some sites and web apps may ask to have exclusive access to the device. For example, a developer may make a new synthesizer available on the web that you can use with your keyboard.

Opera will try to distinguish pop-ups that you have requested (login pages, for example) from pop-ups launched automatically from websites, such as advertising. By default, Opera will block pop-ups you have not requested. You can control how Opera handles pop-ups. To change pop-up settings:

I used the extension in Opera GX for a while before the browser lock was added. The installation of Chrome extensions supports Opera / Opera GX and I had no problems. So Opera / Opera GX would only need to be added to the list of supported browsers, no other changes would be necessary.

The Open (Quantitative) Structure-activity/property Relationship App (OPERA) (Mansouri et al. 2018) was created to provide robust QSAR/QSPR models for chemical properties of environmental interest that can be used for regulatory purposes. OPERA is a free and open-source/open-data suite of QSAR models providing predictions for physicochemical properties, environmental fate parameters, and toxicity endpoints. All OPERA models were built on curated data and QSAR-ready chemical structures standardized using an open-source workflow (Mansouri et al. 2016).

The OPERA application can be downloaded from the NIEHS GitHub repository and used locally on your desktop. Command-line and graphical user interface versions of OPERA are available for Windows and Linux operating systems. OPERA can generate predictions for single chemicals or in batch mode, and returned predictions include accuracy assessments, confidence ranges, and experimental values where available.

OPERA predictions of toxicity and physicochemical properties are also available through the Integrated Chemical Environment (ICE) and the EPA CompTox Chemicals Dashboard. OPERA is also now available as an extension to QSAR Toolbox, a tool co-developed by ECHA and OECD to support animal-free chemical hazard assessment.

The opera program at Illinois Wesleyan University School of Music presents bi-annual performances of operatic excerpts and full-scale productions. Recent productions have included The Elixir of Love, Don Giovanni, Iolanthe, Gianni Schicchi, The Magic Flute, The Beautiful Bridegroom, and Too Many Sopranos.

The School of Music's Opera Program has long been recognized as a fertile training ground for the serious performance major. We commit faculty resources and financial support to help the performance major interested in the Musical Stage (Opera) so that they will experience their art by "performing" and "experiencing" their craft.

The philosophy of Opera at Illinois Wesleyan, under the direction and supervision of Robert Mangialardi has addressed both the essential expectations of the profession and the extraordinary belief put in to practice that the young singer must have the opportunity to test their talent and hone their skills in front of an audience. So to that end the program of performance studies (BM in Voice) has been constructed to meet the professional needs of the young singer through the more advanced skills of the upper class student.
