I will say when I did the bobeats pack, once I got into it, it was pretty straightforward, even using if I had to resample them to 44.1k/16bit.
the tech part was quick, most of the effort was just deciding what to put together (as layers) and what to keep separate - as this determines what can be played together or not.
Ok so in some parts of the world, it's already 11th April, so the course has officially started! We'd better get on with the next lesson - how to add extra sounds. It's important to do that now, as I've made a pack of extra sound samples for us to use during the course.
With all that done, you should be able to restart supercollider (you can do that via: menu -> Language -> Recompile class library, or just by closing and reopening supercollider), and have superdirt automatically start up inside SuperDirt, with all the new samples.
Worked for me. Maybe you could add, in the steps description, that you have to save the edited startup file before restarting supercollider / hitting recompile. Probably pretty obvious, but still
I was wondering, why this procedure, instead of simply dropping the folders in the Dirt-Samples folder ? Just so that it is easier to remove the samples afterwards, for example, and keeping things tidy ? Or is there some other advantage to it ? (at least it's anyway an occasion to get familiar with the extended startup procedure...)
Or maybe you want to make a GitHub repo for your tidal work: basically just create a folder (e.g. my-tidal-folder) where you'll keep all your samples, code snippets, notes, songs etc. and put it on a GitHub repo. This way you don't risk loosing anything and your material is always available and up to date, even on multiple machines; all you have to do is download the folder and set up the path as shown in the video. Here's mine as an example. I've also added the BootTidal.hs and startup.csd so I don't lose them
I have also noticed that when I recompile the class language it does not instantly import the samples from the folder, I have to run the script to load in the samples. This appears to be different to how yours load in the video, am I missing something here as well?

Some of you will likely still make the decision to purchase samples and presets, and I am not one to criticize, but I did want to lightly suggest an alternative approach that costs $0 (and which I personally find more satisfying to use).
I agree with you! Modifying the samples within the OP-1 is very fun. However it takes me hours to just create drum kits in Ableton, with the drag & drop process in the drum utility so it tempting sometimes to buy a kit already streamlined to go to the fun part more quickly
You can't install sample data packs on any other Microsoft 365 subscription. These sample data packs are only compatible with the Microsoft 365 developer sandbox subscription you get as part of the Microsoft 365 Developer Program.

To see the Users sample data, go to the Microsoft 365 Admin Center on your Microsoft 365 developer subscription. Under Users, select Active users. You will see the list of 16 users. You can select a user to view the associated metadata, including photos and licenses.
To see the Mail & Events sample data, in the Microsoft 365 Admin Center, choose Show all and then select Exchange. In the Exchange admin center, when you select recipients, you can see that each of the 16 users has mailboxes with mail and events added.
To see the Microsoft Teams sample data, go to Teams in your Microsoft 365 E5 subscription. On the Teams tab, you'll see some pre-created teams with chats from sample users in the Mark 8 Project Team. The App Studio/Dev Portal app is pre-installed and pinned to the navigation pane.
To see the SharePoint sample data, go to the SharePoint admin center, and choose Active sites in the left navigation. You can see the sample sites that are pre-installed and any additional site templates that you install in your sandbox.

Create your own custom membrane filter sample pack. Get started by choosing your material type from the list below. Then you can build your sample pack by selecting five (5) pore size / diameter combinations of two (2) filters each for a total of ten (10) filters per sample pack.
Sample packs allow the customer to purchase small quantities of membrane filters at nominal cost, with various diameters and pore sizes as selected. This allows the customer to preform trials as needed to determine the optimal filter for their application before committing to purchasing standard pack quantities.

This service was exactly what I needed and expected. I was really tired of opening a package of diapers from my baby shower, just to decide that I hated the brand for my son. I love the little card included and that you can pick from options without just getting a flat sample pack, avoiding some you may have already tried. This will be what I give as a baby shower gift from now on
I like the idea of how you test all the diapers. I don't like how it changed my order when I checked out. I ordered Newborn and size 1 in create your own sample to test the different sizes as well as brands but it ended up doubling the Newborn sizes with the same brand instead of getting size 1 and size two. Especially in the brand names like LUVs, huggies and pampers, hello bello and up and up it also didn't get me the Mama bear samples. Still excited to try the different varieties just disappointed the the system switched sizes on me when it doesn't give you the option to add different quantities.
Everytime their is a baby shower this is my go to. Love that I can help new parents figure out what their favorite diaper is without having to buy huge packs of something that doesn't work for them. Makes it one less stress. We all have our favorites. Diaper Dabbler makes it so easy. Thank you.
At my baby shower I received mostly luvs which just don't work for my daughter. I was able to sample a bunch of brands without having to waste diapers that she couldn't use! I recommend the company to all my new mommy friends.
