Lockers are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. An email will be sent to your UNT email address when a locker has been assigned. If demand exceeds our available supply, the Access Services Department will maintain a waiting list to help us assign lockers fairly.
Please be advised that you will be asked to clean out your locker by a date following the end of the Spring semester. Failure to do so will result in a clearance fee of $20. Returning students, however, may opt to keep the assigned locker from the previous year.
Items left in expired lockers will be held for 30 days, in safe keeping, at SHL Public Safety, and then donated or disposed of. SHL is not responsible for content left in expired lockers or lost or stolen items.
To open your locker:
If you forget your locker combination, you can log into LockerGM and click "combination" under My Rentals on your home page. For instructions on how to operate LockerGM, click here. You can also come to the Student Centers office with your Mason ID to retrieve your combination. Student Centers cannot give you your combination over the phone or without presenting your Mason ID.
Students and faculty who do not renew their locker must empty their locker of all items no later than five business days after the date listed on their locker rental receipt. After that date, Student Centers staff check the lockers for damages, collect any items left inside, and change the locker combinations of any lockers that have not been renewed.
Students and faculty must renew their locker no later than five business days prior to the end of their rental period. Lockers can be renewed either through LockerGM or in person. Students and faculty must pay the aforementioned fee to renew their locker for the following semester. Students and faculty who renew their locker keep the same combination and maintain access to their locker through to the end of the following semester.
If you leave items in your locker after your rental period ends, bring your Mason ID to the Student Centers Administrative Office (Johnson Center Suite 324) to claim your items. They will contact you when your items are available to be picked up.
Student Centers will keep locker items in storage for a maximum of 30 days into the next academic semester before discarding the items. After the 30 day holding period, some items may be delivered to the University Lost and Found if they are estimated to be of high value (such as wallets or jewelry). Once an item has been turned over to Lost and Found, the owner should contact them directly at (703) 993-2975 or prop...@gmu.edu

Library lockers are available to reserve (for semester or daily use) at the circulation desk in the main lobby with a valid AUID. They are conveniently located on the Lower Level, 1st, 2nd and 3rd floors of the library, as well as in the hallway between the Graduate Research Center (GRC) and the SIS building. However, this location is reserved strictly for graduate students.
Lockers are generally available on a first-come, first-served basis. Due to limited amounts, some lockers (like graduate lockers located on the First Floor and near the GRC) are sometimes unavailable.
Semester-Use lockers can be held for a full semester. Approximately a week before the keys are due, an email will be sent out with the option for renewal. You are welcome to renew a locker between the Fall and Spring semesters and the Spring and Summer semesters. Lockers must be returned at the end of the Summer semester for processing, cleaning, and maintenance before redistribution for the Fall.
For those who do not obtain a semester locker, or are looking for something more temporary, the library offers daily-use lockers. These are due back the next night before closing and can be renewed three times by phone or in person.
Day use lockers are available in multiple locations across the Student Recreation Center including inside the locker rooms, by the Midtown Courts, between the Fitness Alley and Midtown Fitness, outside the Cycling Studio, and more. There are also open cubbies to store non-valuable items under the stairs in Midtown Fitness.
You can also rent lockers by the term or annually. These lockers are located inside the locker rooms, and outside private bathrooms and changing areas. Visit the Welcome Desk in the main lobby to rent a locker.
UNCG students, faculty, and staff may check out a locker, free of charge, for the current academic term - fall, spring, or summer. Lockers are limited to one per person. Combination locks are provided for the lockers; personal locks are not allowed. Requests for lockers are processed starting on the first day of classes in each semester. Requests are not processed between semesters. View locker policies.
To retain a locker for the next term - near the end of the current term renew it online via My Library Account or it in person at the Check Out Desk. Lockers are otherwise cleared by library staff at the end of each term. Please be sure to clear lockers by the due dates.
All lockers are available on a first-come-first-served basis. Keys for day lockers can be checked out from the third-floor circulation desk. Long-term lockers can be secured by completing a locker reservation form. Once you have completed the form, you will receive an email from a member of the library staff with your locker combination code.
