Hello, my name is Nahshon and I have just installed Minerva (after
reading Smart Home Automation with Linux)
I currently work with commandfusion and have been looking for a
solution that will run on Linux (installed on an apple TV).
Commandfusion is a very versitile application that runs on the apple
iDevices and soon on android.
She can talk to any TCP/IP enabled device.

Will TCP/IP devices be easy to control and schedule in Minerva?

Hi-

Minerva can control any device over TCP/IP. What is needed on top,
however, is knowledge about _what_ data needs to be sent over TCP/IP
so that the device can react to it. (This is the same for any piece of
HA software.) Marple is the basic system within Minerva to send
control data to other devices over TCP/IP.

You therefore need to determine the messages necessary for the device
in question.
