Hi Group:

there are a few opportunities that I would like to make you aware of as a result of our contact at Xcel, Dan Sachse.  Dan was a tremendous aid in the ENGY200 course this year.

there is a meeting in October that you might be interested in attending that has a free meal and an opportunity to connect.  http://rmaeeenergyforum2011.eventbrite.com/

In addition there is a tour of one of the new energy efficient facilities in downtown Denver on Sept 15th,  http://rmaeeseptember2011luncheon.eventbrite.com/

Did I mention that as students these are FREE!

Finally there is a certificate course at DU that is on Sustainability - a related topic to energy.   Scholarships for the tuition are available

Sustainability Scholarship Opportunity – Apply Now!

The Daniels College of Business, Natural Capitalism Solutions, and CORE (Connected Organizations for a Responsible Economy), have partnered to offer a new certification program in Sustainability Leadership and Implementation.

The course will be taught by sustainability leader L. Hunter Lovins and clinical professor of leadership at the Daniels College of Business Scott McLagan. Participants will earn a Certificate in Sustainability Leadership and Implementation while gaining the knowledge and skills needed to implement an effective and profit-enhancing sustainability program for their organization.

Finally I don't know if you will be at the meeting but we are discussing a TechFee proposal to get some energy related equipment on campus.   We would like Minergy to be involved.
