Making custom NPC skins then adding them to the right folder (mac)

Hi, i've downloaded a few NPC skins as PNG files and I can't find the folder i need to put them in. I've looked through the directories on 

~/Library/Application Support/minecraftedu/minecraft

but can't find anywhere to leave the files.

Anybody have experience with custom installing NPC skins on a MacBook?

The folder you want to put those skins in is "~/Library/Application Support/minecraftedu/minecraft/customnpcs/assets/customnpcs"

How do I know this? Google.
