So, I've watched the tutorial video on world edit from the wiki.  I've tried several times, and can't get it to work.  I've even tried different types of structures.  Are there certain things that are supposed to be turned on/off in the teacher menu for this to happen?  And do you have to be in single or multiplayer?

I've tried mulitplayer, got my wand, selected my area, and it even tells me - pos 1 selected, pos 2 selected.  Then I copy and it tells me 4900 blocks are copied.  The I turn around to paste in a flat area, and it even says" blocks pasted".  But there's nothing  there...

Also, are you supposed to be logged in as a teacher?  I just feel like there is something little I am missing.

Hi Lisa, the way worldedit works is all relative, so from there you press //copy relative to your selection is where it will paste it. So my suggestion is to stand at a significant place, I normally do the front centre.

Thanks!  That worked!  It's my new spot I was picking that was messing it up.  I think I have a grip on it now.  While I don't think I'll get too deep in to world edit (For now!) The copy/paste is SO helpful.

You need to have worldedit installed on the server, be logged in as a teacher and type //wand

To access the wand features in WorldEdit, just put a stick in your hand.
