Basic Crafting Cheat Sheet

I searched around but didn't see anything like this anywhere.  I wanted a crafting cheat sheet for my newbie players (since there is a huge gap in player ability/experience in all my classes) so I made this one up.  Of course they could just multitask to any number of websites with the same info, but our periods are only 40 minutes and I thought a quick glance at a reference sheet would be better.

I just thought I'd share in case anyone else was looking for the same thing.

Hey Moe,

I love the idea of this sheet...my only suggestion is that you give it to them blank.

I did this with my kids at the beginning of the year, and they were able to fill the sheet by through conversation and collaboration in the class or they read the informational text pages of the Minecraft Wiki. Allowing them to use it this way hits more standards and stretches the learning above giving them a cheat sheet.

We also discussed ways to document the type of materials used, since they weren't going to draw each piece of wood or stick. So they came up with a legend that helped them remember what each letter represented.

Agreed.  The blank sheet would be a great way to get the kids into the crafting mindset.
