No Sound from Jukeboxes?

not sure if i am just missing something or what. i place a jukebox and pop a record in (doesn't matter which) and no sound is played. i could swear it worked back in 1.6.4, but in 1.7.10 (build 12) i get dead air.

i tried going into settings and adjusting music and jukebox and even master volumes, but no sound from jukeboxes.

any suggestions?

Take the music disc files out of a vanilla Minecraft resources folder and place them in the MinecraftEdu one. They were removed to cut down on install size.

OK, simple enough.

was there anything else removed, so i don't have any more surprises when kids come to me with complaints?

Not that I am aware of, but I can check with the devs later when they are no longer asleep.

this worked, but was a bit hard to find the files in 1.7.10, and i had to edit the JSON file as well to get it to work. i started a new Topic in the General forum to help anyone interested in this (like me). i hope that's okay. i thought it might save some people a lot of the stress of figuring it out...
