Greetings Minecraft Teachers,

I have set up a server here at school and my class are creating their own themepark/dungeons to do with maths. One group would like to create a maze. When I tried to use the worldedit script for /maze.js It comes up with this error message: script does not exist: .\craftscripts\maze.js

I followed the instructions and downloaded rhino and the maze.js script but I think I have not got the script in the right folder? One part of the wiki said to copy it from the download into the root directory but I am not sure which directory?
Text from the Worldedit Wiki:
"Installing scripts

Create a plugins/WorldEdit/craftscripts/ directory in your server's root directory (.minecraft directory if single player) and place CraftScript files there. Script files should end with a .js extension."

Can anyone help me to figure out what I am doing wrong?

Cheers SnailNZ

I would guess this would need to be placed in the /minecraftedu/servertool/server folder.

Elfie.

Hi EduElfie,

Thanks for the help but it doesn't seem to work there either... Could you recommend another maze generating script/mod that might be easier to use?

I couldn't find any info on using those scripts with Forge based installations (which is what MCEDU is) so it may only work with Bukkit based versions.  I have used a maze creating mod before but if I recall, it was more of a random placement in the world and not easily controlled for parameters etc.  I don't remember the name off hand but a search for 1.6.4 forge maze mods may get you something that will work.

Cheers Matt,

If not I will get the kids to find a map generator online and copy one of those :)

Hey all,

Still no luck on a forge based maze mod for 1.6.4 There are some that populate with monsters and treasure but none that just create a generic maze... If anyone finds something could you post it here please :)
