Here is a fun activity to try with Middle School students after you complete the lesson on the brain. It ties in with what they just learned about how the amygdala often "reacts" before the more "mindful" pre-frontal cortex can exert a reflective response. Each scenario can be discussed or acted out by small groups of students.
