====== What is MindTheBird! =====
MindTheBird! is the Firebird Community activation campaign, with the
main goal to support launch of Firebird 2.5 and ensure the visibility
of the Firebird in the world of information technologies: media, open-
source enthusiasts and end users.
MindTheBird! provides messaging framework, marketing materials and
guidance to speak about Firebird with end-users, journalists and even
competitors. We encourage all developers and enthusiasts of Firebird
to be the part of this very important campaign.
Firebird 2.5 Launch is the best time to get attention for Firebird,
and MindTheBird will leverage it.
Materials can be downloaded from www.MindTheBird.com.
===== How Can You Help Firebird? ====
You can be contributor or ambassador (or both).
== Contributors ==
Right now (Feb 23) we need contributors - people who will submit
materials for Firebird promotion, and those who can help with
translations of materials.
== Firebird Ambassador ==
To become Firebird Ambassador, you need to start represent Firebird
for your colleagues, friends and other people you relate with via
Facebook, Twitter and other social networks.
Put the banner and Firebird presentations on you site, send email and
links, follow us on Twitter http://twitter.com/mindthefirebird
=== HOW TO JOIN? ===
To join global MindTheBird campaign it is enough to put any of
materials (downloadable or embedded) or banners to your web-site
(blog, newgroup, etc), link them to www.MindTheBird.com or www.FirebirdSQL.org,
and then write a simple message to this group with link to your site.
Also please mark your messages in Twittet with tag #mindthebird

I wanted to translate in French some slides (I updated the Firebird in 2 minutes paper)
but how can I translate slide 5 of 1_Firebird_general_ppt ?
under Open Office it seems that it is a big picture, not text that I can change.
Sorry, I'm not PowerPoint expert, my own slides are made with Latex ;)
