Thepopulation is small enough you could even add cross-server friends lists and let us queue up with people from other servers. If you meet someone cool in a random dungeon you can actively search them out in a later session. Could never do that back in the day. So many better options available to Blizzard to make the game better and instead, like usual they go for the easiest option. And cry when we accuse them of being lazy.

And each one hosts its own games, which means you need to check each one for an available game to join. Which sounds pithy, but I've jotted it down, and to check every server for an open game, it takes about 1 full minute and 22 clicks to check every one. Why is it designed like this?


Multiplayer games have perfected the server list years ago, why are we using this odd drop-down? We should combine all available servers in a simple list with their details in columns. That way it's one quick glance-through and no more hunting.


You can find these two new dungeons for your server and enjoyment on steam under the workshop. Please remember mods will need to be updated to match current versions of the game engine. This takes a few days till the development kit is updated for modders. Thank you and enjoy.


At its core, the server is an endless roguelike dungeon. Every new room you enter is chosen randomly from a pool. If you die while in the dungeon, your game is completely reset, aside from the classes you've obtained. Classes are a kit of items you can choose from before entering the dungeon, and you can find new and stronger ones throughout your exploration.


Current classes include Adventurer, Archer, Rogue, Shroomer, and Necromancer. The server has no natural regen, so you'll want to look for as many healing potions and take as little damage as possible. But look out for enemies, as the dungeon is littered with them.


Throughout the dungeon you'll find loot chests with some nice consumable items. These chests contain things like potions, bombs, and coins, amongst others. You'll want to explore each room for a sweet loot chest so you can get that much-needed healing potion, or some extra coins to help you buy better gear.


Tbh all you need to know about me is that I was once the Drama King on minehut and I was a really good warzone player. That summarizes about 50% of what I did on minehut in the past lol.

We have a social system asset purchased from the Marketplace that includes chat, grouping, guilds, messaging, etc. We have a test dungeon on another server instance (same physical server) that can be entered (by zoning) from the first map.


While our implementation is incomplete and not very efficient at this point, it does show that all of the things that you want to do, with whatever quality that you wish to achieve, are indeed possible with UE4.


One fact that you should be aware of (if you are not already) is the limitations on UE4 dedicated servers. The largest number of simultaneous player connections that I have read about is 147 and it seems that there is a default limit of 64 (this may have changed.) With basic UE4, you should not expect to get more than 100 players per server and perhaps much less.


Ok so you have a UE4 server instance to runs the first zone map and it is limited to only 64/147 players inside at the same time. I guess we could spawn another first zone map to host another 64/147 players and so on, though this two group of players would not be able to see each other but I think it is good enough or we could allow players to jump into different instance of first zone map.


For db server communication we use the Sockets plugin and server that is available on the Marketplace. Inventory, stats, location, and etc storage is all handled by communication between the UE4 server and the socket server. Many use the VaRest plugin that is also available on the marketplace.


I would suggest that you investigate the MMO-Kit (about $100) that is discussed here on the forums. Much of what you want to do is built in to that kit and at the very least it would provide working examples for your project.


EDIT: I looked some more into it since I got the same message: Is it possible that your dungeon is more then a week/few weeks old? If so, it probably means because the dungeon is created some time ago, the game threw it away from the server. To make the Glyph available for a new dungeon. This means you can still play the dungeon, but none can join you since you're playing SinglePlayer when playing in the deleted dungeon (atleast thats what I think).


The reason why I think that, is because yesterday I saw some posts about people who lost their character after they stopped playing for a few weeks while their character was still inside the dungeon. And they all had the same message as you on their Chalice dungeon.


I'm not even sure why is this an issue right now, I never had such issues in dungeons before, I used to run Layer 2 on a daily basis, but now that those things became a problem, I can't do any of the dungeons, which makes progression in general a lot harder


Everything was fine since the first day of me playing this game, i live in the middle east and i would always get EU servers (90 - 140 ping). i have no freaking clue what theyve done the last month to make matchmaking an absolute fucking hell. i did the entrance to duke's manor around 20 times without one EU server. I tried like 2 times to do it on vriginia ones and got annihalated because all the attacks were unreactable. Wanna hear something funny? I had to PAY a freshie from the EU 1.5K notes to pull the lever to duke erisia's manor FOR ME because if i would do it i would get sent to a server on the other side of the planet.


Unfortunate for us, I absolutely in love with this game and it's quite sad that now I can't even have a normal dungeon, as I have wrote before it literally fucks up all progress, I even farm Layer 2 from lvl13 because its super fast.


@Idan199 if you still have this problem, i think i found a fix. I installed a free VPN called proton, set location to netherlands. It gave me an authentication error or something so i reinstalled roblox and for the first time in multiple time it gave me an EU server when i pressed quick join.


This is a walkthrough of how the newly released class chieftain perform in the Technopolis myth dungeon. We were just getting used to the skills and I'm sure there are a lot more ways to speed up the dungeon run.
