Gore Place Sheepshearing Festival

Welcome spring! It may be rainy but at least it's not as cold.
I wanted to remind everyone of the Gore Place Sheepshearing Festival
this Saturday, April 30 at the Gore Estate in Waltham. There is sheep
shearing, of course, sheepdog demos, lots of animals to see, a craft
fair and the fiber tent where Annie and I will be. For more

This will be the thirteenth year that I've had a booth and it is
always a very enjoyable time. It is also the only spring fiber
festival that you can get to on public transportation! Just take the
#70 bus from Central Square in Cambridge. Tell the bus driver to let
you off at the first stop in Waltham and follow the signs to the
festival (it's pretty obvious). Check www.mbta.com for the schedule.
I hope you all can make it. So far, the weather report is pretty
favorable. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed!
