Hello All,
Annie and I have just managed to work our way out from under another
delivery of giant boxes of yarn. We have new Regia, Noro and
Sublime. See below for all the details!
Meanwhile, this weekend is the Mass Sales Tax Holiday. If you have
been thinking about buying a spinning wheel, this weekend might be the
time to do it. I have two Schacht Lady Bugs and an Ashford Joy Double
Treadle in stock. If you are interested in any other Schacht or
Ashford wheel, orders are will be tax free as well.
New yarns:
Regia Blitz- 75%Wool/25% Nylon, 420m/100g. This is a new self-
patterning yarn from Regia. It is more subtle than their regular self-
patterning yarns and quite beautiful.
Regia Trend & Color- 75% Wool/25% Nylon, 420m/100g. This is a new
line of solids from Regia. They made this yarn in all of the colors
that the fashion industry decided will be 'in' this season. They are
actually really great, muted solids that would be wonderful for men's
socks and will show any stitch pattern to good effect.
Noro Nadeshiko- 40% Angora/39% Wool/21% Silk, 130m/100g. This is a
nice soft, chunky from Noro. It is a bit fluffy and I would bet that
it would bloom quite a bit after knitting, though I don't know for
sure since we haven't knit the sample yet. I like the muted colors it
comes in and am looking forward to knitting it.
Sublime Lustrous Extrafine Merino DK- 67% Merino/33% Nylon, 104yds/
25g. This yarn has a very interesting construction. It consists of a
mesh nylon tube filled with merino. It is very shiny and soft and
seems as though it would knit up into a very warm, light weight
fabric. I'm very interested to get it on the needles.
We have new colors in Noro Silk Garden and Kureyon as well as the
Kaffe Fassett and Extra Twist Merino Regia.
Have a great afternoon and I hope you are able to come in and take
advantage of the tax free weekend.
Best,
Lucy
