Is there any plan to implement support for LaTeX-like formulas/equation?

I've almost settled on using MindMup for my mindmaps, but I often find myself missing a way to input and typeset formulas.
If it had LaTeX-support it would be an easy choice, but now I'm a bit torn between MindMup and something like Freemind (which has several LaTeX extensions).

I think the easiest way to do this would be using MathJax: https://www.mathjax.org/
This implements a nice subset of the LaTeX math typesetting commands, and would make MindMup perfect in my opinion.

Hi,

We don't have any immediate plans for that, but you can influence us
to implement it in the future by voting at

I found a suggestion describing the feature I want: http://mindmup.uservoice.com/forums/200447-what-should-we-focus-on-next/suggestions/4208351-latex-math-or-equation-editor
It's not a top request, but it seems lik at least some users are interested in it (it has 66 a the moment).

As an example, coggle.it has implemented this using MathJax: http://bloggle.coggle.it/post/129486891802/add-math-to-coggles
