Unable to find my saved Mindmups

Hello, 

I'm trying to start using mindmup (free version to start). I have watched the tutorial and what I can see on my screen is different : 

• No title at the top 
• no eMail adress at the top right indicating I am recognized

On the top of that, and what is the most problematic is that I cannot find back saved documents. 

any help from the community will be highly appreciate

Hi,

if you want to use mindmup with google drive, you'll see your google account e-mail in the top right corner and the file name in the top left, as you saw in the tutorial. you can use mindmup with google drive for free, here is how to do it: https://www.mindmup.com/tutorials/google-drive.html

If you do not want to use google drive, but save to mindmup cloud storage, then you'll need to register for MindMup Gold to be able to rename maps and retrieve old maps easily. when you use mindmup cloud storage for free, you don't have an account and there's no need to sign in, so there's no e-mail to display in the top right corner. Also, because the files for free users are all stored in the same area, each file gets a randomly assigned URL, so you can't rename files directly. Both these limitations are lifted with Gold accounts.

Are they limitations, such as size, features, expiration, etc.

with google drive, the limitations are based on your contract with google. whatever they allow, mindmup will use. because we are not paying for storage then, we don't impose any additional limitations.
