Hello Lorenz,
First, the MindJolt Developer community has moved. For future
discussions. please go here:
http://support.developer.mindjolt.com/mindjoltdev

There were a number of issues with your game that led to our
decision. Above all, the game mechanics made it so that no score was
submitted until all 30 levels had been completed. This took far longer
than the 3 minutes per game that MindJolt recommends.

Another issue was the lack of instructions provided with your game. We
try to encourage developers to include instructions, even when the
controls may seem intuitive. Having no instructions is hard on new
gamers trying to get going, and may lead to negative first impression
for your game.

Finally, there were links everywhere to the Funflow site on Facebook.
Fundamentally, the partnership between our developers and MindJolt is
for our users to play games on MindJolt in order to generate
advertising revenues for both parties. It is not about being a traffic
driver for other businesses.

There is a good discussion on the criteria MindJolt uses to assess
games and a list of the reasons games get rejected. You might want to
take a look at these discussions:

http://support.developer.mindjolt.com/mindjoltdev/topics/what_are_the_reasons_that_games_do_not_get_accepted_on_mindjolt

Finally, I especially regret that your rejection note did not explain
the reasosn. Every game we do not accept should come with an
explanation. I thought we had corrected our process to do this, but
your case (and several others at the same time) pointed out a hole in
our process that we are now plugging. If others have also had games
rejected without an explanation, please post the game name in the new
community area at: http://support.developer.mindjolt.com/mindjoltdev.
Alternately, send me an email and I’ll look into it privately.
Sincerely yours, Marc
