[Minding Animals]

Hello Study Circle Member,
CALL FOR PAPERS AND DISCUSSION
Some exciting news is that the International Society for Environmental
Ethics (ISEE) and Minding Animals International (MAI) have been
talking about collaborative work that our organisations may do in the
run-up to Minding Animals 3 (MA3) in 2015.
It is envisaged that discussions will result in papers for
presentation at MA3, as well as publication (before or after the
conference) in either the ISEE Newsletter or the Journal of
Environmental Ethics.
Initially, what we need is for the various Study Circles to present
short papers relevant to the respective Study Circle (in which you
participate) to the MAI Board and ISEE Editor for inclusion in the
ISEE Newsletter (contact details will follow). These papers will be
published progressively in the period between MA2 in Utrecht and MA3
in 2015.
The Board of MA International encourages you to discuss topics that
are of interest to you and the Study Circle in which you participate
to achieve this goal. If interested, please respond with your ideas
to this email which will go to all Study Circle members.

In the interim, MA2 approaches fast and we would like you all to
participate in dedicated Study Circle Lunchtime Roundtable discussions
to be held in Utrecht. You may like to discuss the ISEE initiative or
some other topics of interest or mutual interest?
If you are interested in participating in a Study Circle Lunchtime
Roundtable discussion, please respond by sending an email to:
minding...@gmail.com. If not, no roundtable discussion will be
held for your group at Utrecht.
