Hi everyone
We are going to integrate Zoom calling feature in App. And Our requirement is that our Apps users should be able to start or join a meeting through our App without even performing the Zoom Login on behalf of our Account. Can you please let me know is it possible, If yes how we can achieve it. I also want to know which Zoom package should we need to buy and how much can be the billing. Thanks in advance.

Zoom Phone is a cloud-based calling solution that is used when you need to quickly contact someone using VoIP. Unlike the traditional Zoom experience, there is no video call on this platform. However, the features that you would find on a PBX are all accessible and streamlined to create a better experience than is available through a traditional landline calling system.

With the traditional public switched telephone network (PSTN), dialing via landlines requires extensive hardware on-premise, expansive copper wiring in your building, and expensive long-distance calling rates.

With a service like this one, the hardware is maintained remotely by the provider. You only need an internet connection, and the cost of long-distance calling is drastically reduced. In fact, the service allows for unlimited calling to the U.S. and Canada without the need to incur local long-distance fees. Since VoIP is so versatile, more than 61% of businesses adopt VoIP services like Zoom Phone at the end of their landline contracts.

When calls need to be transferred, there is the option to do a supervised transfer to a specific agent. You can also do a blind transfer that sends the call to a capable department or simply back into the calling queue for another agent to address.

Google Voice also has three tiers in which to select. These include Starter ($10), Standard ($20), and Premier ($30). All paid plans grant unlimited calling to the U.S., but this does not include Canadian calls like some other VoIP providers like Zoom. Also, there are some gated features to consider.

Hello All, we recently had issue with zoom calling. But after they added no decryption rule for zoom domain, the issue got resolved. Could you please explain me why would decryption be an issue for zoom

you can port your cell phone number to zoom phone. you will be able to be reached at both your zoom phone number as well as your old cell number. your old cell phone number will be connected to zoom. without a mobile carrier, i do not think your cell phone will work.

I'm completely new to zoom and I'm trying to set up Zoom Phone. There are still a few things confusing to me.
The call that I'm trying to make is from the Netherlands to the United States. So I do not have a US phone number only Dutch.

I got the unlimited US/Canada plan.

However, I am not able to assign any phone number. I added my dutch mobile phone number to my profile under "Personal". But I cannot change the Direct Number at all in that section. Does Zoom create/generate a phone number for me? A US number? Or how does this work?

I know something is wrong because when I go to my zoom desktop app and I try to call a US number I get:
"Sorry we cannot complete your call your service plan does not support calling to this destination"

When I make a call using the above implementation, the message starts playing when the zoom phone starts to ring, so by the time I answer the phone, it would be halfway through the message. When I tried the same implementation but changed it so it would call my personal iPhone, the message started playing once I picked up the call, which is what I expect to happen for when I call my zoom phone account.

The first try is when I called my iPhone, and since I waited a few seconds before picking up the phone, the time between ringing and in_progress seems reasonable. The second try is when I called my zoom phone, and the status immediately changed from ringing to in_progress even though the phone is still ringing.Does anyone have an idea as to why this is happening, and how to fix this?

Imagine an 8-24 zoomer for the princely sum of $21.85 shipped from China. I may order one just for the simple fact it is cheap and my expectations are quite low. Not being a devotee of zoom eyepieces, it still piques my interest and begs for someone to run it through its paces and dissect it. So to that end I hope BillP will give it a look and let us know just what is inside this magical product, with its "Fully Metal Goggles".

I already have two zooms, a Celestron and a Baader Hyperion, so I have no use for a third, but I am always interested in hearing about acceptable products at great prices. And 40 to 66 degree AFOV is quite a wide range. Wonder how well corrected it will be.

The couple of Datyson barlows I use are fine for what they cost. This zoom eyepiece might be similar. Some cheap stuff may actually work well beyond expectations. I recently bought 23mm 62 deg aspheric eyepiece for 8 euros and to be honest it appears to me as good as my Meade 4000 Plossls are (if not better).

Zoom Phone is a cloud-based solution allowing businesses to send and receive unlimited calls. Service plans also include SMS, toll-free numbers and unlimited auto attendants. You can easily switch between voice and video calls when paired with Zoom Meetings. Starting at $10 per month per user, Zoom Phone is an affordable communications option for professional clients. In addition to domestic calling, customers can upgrade to communicate globally. Check out our detailed review to see if Zoom Phone is right for your needs.

There is no app specifically for the Zoom Phone. Instead, the VoIP options will become available on the Zoom app once you sign up for service. Other items in the app, including video conferencing and chat, are already available, though you should be able to switch between voice and video calling if you choose.

With a starting price of $15 per month per user, the Unlimited plan opens up calling beyond Zoom accounts, letting you make and receive calls nationwide. International calling is available through a $120 per year add-on. This tier also allows you to use support tickets only if you are a licensed user. Given the pricing and available features, the US & Canada Unlimited Plan is probably the best option for U.S. businesses seeking a cost-effective phone plan.

The first time they log in to the Zoom website, all faculty, staff, students, and affiliates will be provisioned with licenses that allow them to conduct meetings with up to 300 participants. Video is available. Audio is limited to "join by computer" and calling a toll (long-distance) number. A variety of license upgrades are available.

Zoom Video Communications, Inc. (commonly shortened to Zoom, and stylized as zoom) is a communications technology company headquartered in San Jose, California. It provides videotelephony and online chat services through a cloud-based peer-to-peer software platform used for video communications (Meetings), messaging (Chat), voice calls (Phone), conference rooms for video meetings (Rooms), virtual events (Events) and contact centers (Contact Center), and offers an open platform allowing third-party developers to build custom applications on its unified communications platform (Developer Platform).[1] The company was founded in 2011 by Eric Yuan, a former Cisco engineer and executive. It launched its software in 2013.[2]

As we tentatively re-enter the office (hello commute my old friend), Zoom calls are starting to recede into distant memory. But the effects of constant video-calling live on. Not only are we struggling with the aftermath of Zoom fatigue, in which our necks are sore from constantly staring down into our laptop screens, and our eyes are tired from being blasted with blue light, our video chat existence has left us with a worrying new condition: Zoom dysmorphia.
