The best I get now is to go to the 1Password app in a separate task from the browser to copy a password, and then paste it into the browser.
Perhaps I should launch the web site from the 1Password login entry to get autofill?

Inappropriate sites on your browser will be blocked. When you're signed into Microsoft Edge, Bing SafeSearch will be set to strict, and Microsoft blocks many sites automatically. Your parent can also choose to block or allow specific sites or choose to only allow you to visit sites they've said are OK.

You can send exception requests for sites you want to access. Your parent can respond to these requests through email or on family.microsoft.com.

Microsoft Edge is the newest official browser by the hands of Microsoft. Now anyone on Windows 10 can get a continuous experience while browsing from device to device. Anytime you log on, all your content and data from your Windows 10 browsing session carries over to your other devices automatically. That means you can sync your Android browser to your PC. No fuss, no muss.

As might be expected, Microsoft Edge is tailored to providing all the features you need from a high calibre browser. Keep all your tabs open. Browse in incognito mode. Manage your bookmarks. Switch your default browser. Customize your interface, etc. It's all here.

Microsoft Edge is a web browser based on Chromium, the same engine as Google Chrome. As a result, both offer excellent performance and functionality. Edge also has extra features that Chrome does not. Chrome, on the other hand, is updated faster to patch potential vulnerabilities.

Microsoft Edge can be installed on your Android smartphone or tablet even if you already have another browser such as Google Chrome. However, you'll have to choose a web browser to open links by default.

Uptodown is a multi-platform app store specialized in Android. Our goal is to provide free and open access to a large catalog of apps without restrictions, while providing a legal distribution platform accessible from any browser, and also through its official native app.

Frequently, in many Google sites - the latest in the series, e.g. google.com/android/beta - but also other "much less demanding" ones (the latter detail is not secondary), or even just the Google Chrome forum, trying to access from android with the Edge browser, after entering my username I get a pop-up with a ban:

If on Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra and on Google Pixel 7 Pro both android 13, in Edge > Settings > General > Site display settings, I set Show desktop site as default, access to Google sites that require login and psw is always blocked with reason Insecure browser with request to enable JavaScript (enabled by default). If I set: Show mobile site as default I access Google sites that require login and psw.

When I tested the site on my end, everything was looking great and good to go. When the client got the site and opened it on their Windows computer in the Microsoft Edge browser, the buttons became unaligned, and there was a weird sliver of blue under images.

I'm trying to log into the Spotify web player (open.spotify.com) from the Microsoft Edge browser app on my phone. The first time I tried, I was presented with the screenshot below, so I clicked on "login" and was asked for my email and password, which I input, but when I confirmed my entries, that initial screenshot got shown to me again. From that moment on, I've been stuck on a loop where clicking on "login" simply leads to that same page again, as if I was just refreshing it.

I've tried on a friend's phone (Huawei P20, Android 9 as well but using Google Chrome instead of Edge) and was able to log in without issues (using their credentials). When I tried their credentials on my phone, I had the same issue, so I think it's probably Edge-related. Seeing as both Chrome and Edge are listed as browsers which support the webplayer though, I'd really like to use this option instead of having to download the app... Has anybody faced a similar issue? How did you solve the problem?

As a first step we'd suggest trying again in a private/incognito window. This step makes sure you avoid issues with your browser's cache. If that doesn't do the trick try again in a different kind of browser.

Microsoft Edge is one of the premier browsers available, along with Google Chrome. The MS Edge browser is built with Chromium, similar to other browsers in the industry. The Microsoft Edge browser is available on all major device platforms.

iOS and Android are one of the main device platforms that MS Edge browser is available apart from Windows devices. One of the users on Twitter Leopeva64 noticed that Microsoft made this feature available in the Dev and Canary channels of Edge for Android web browser.

The technical changes regarding adding EDGE as the new shiny browser is lucky for us not much work. The needed work will be to create new guides and information to the End-Users. During the pilot, I found one handy key feature when running both browsers for a period of time is that we can [Direct users to Microsoft Edge instead of the Intune Managed Browser][5] with custom settings.

In terms of new MAM Configuration settings, I hope that we will get some more control like changing the start page, so it automatically starts the browser like it did in the Managed Browser. I could also like that we have more control over the SSO settings so it Automatically starts the Sign-On view right after MAM Policy is applied.

Last week, Microsoft started rolling out its upgraded Edge web browser. It's got a good set of features and looks to be a decent competitor to other options like Chrome and Firefox, but how does it translate on Android?

I had been running the beta off and on for a few months on my Windows 10 laptop. Installed the new official release on the Note 10, Tab S6, and my laptop yesterday. Finished fine tuning it today and have all my bookmarks and passwords synced. So far so good, I like it. I did have a little issue getting the android version to sync to the correct set of bookmarks. I had to logout and delete...

I've been using it since the early dev releases, once it became more stable, I've been using it as my default browser, for quite a while now. At my work we use chrome enterprise but I like edge better. I dont use it on mobile, only desktop. There's a lot of things stripped out that I dont like in chrome, basically a stripped down version of chrome with the Microsoft design. What will be...

Most problems with ProjectDox occur because pop-ups are disabled, which is addressed above, or because old web browsing data needs to be cleared out. Follow the steps below to clear Edge's browser cache, cookies, history, and other website data.

Android devices come with Google Chrome pre-installed, but you don't have to use it. If you use Microsoft Edge on your computer, you may prefer to use that on your phone instead. We'll show you how to set Edge as your default browser.

Setting Microsoft Edge as your "default" browser means that the Android operating system will always use it when a browser is needed. For example, if you select a link in an email, it will be opened automatically in Edge. This makes it a lot easier to use.

The feature is now available in the Canary branch of the Edge on Android. Again, it appears as part of the page share feature. Once you click on the long screenshot button, the browser will allow to define the vertical screen area to capture. You can select the whole page if you want, from its top to very bottom.

We also would like to mention that recent versions of the Android operating system come built-in screenshot tools. Often customize by the vendor, they can offer extra features, such as screen recording, annotations, drawing etc. Most power users will probably stick with these. But the long screenshot addition is a welcome change to the Edge browser as one more option to choose from.

While you should clear your web browser's cache, cookies, and history periodically in order to prevent or resolve performance problems, you may wish to record some of your saved information first. If you are unable to do so, see Troubleshooting alternatives below.
