Any teens and young adults between the ages of 13-23 as well as mature 12-year-olds are welcome to attend. 

 

In 4 weeks, participants will: 

      Learn how to cope with and manage stress

      Bring mindfulness techniques and practices into their lives

      Acquire skills to choose to focus on positive experiences aka 'Taking in the Good' and build beneficial lasting resources.

 

Improve Focus, Manage Stress, and Chill Out in 4 Weeks!

 

Teens and young adults today are facing greater mental health challenges than ever before. Whether sensory overload from electronic devices, cyberbullying, or academic pressures – they are in dire need of education in self-care.

 

The Stressed Teens 4-Week Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Online Group is a  research-based course that will allow teens and young adults to develop mindfulness skills to reduce stress and improve mental health. They will become empowered to take control of their well-being, increase self-esteem, and live life with renewed hope and enthusiasm.

 

Stressed Teens invites and celebrates human diversity in all forms regardless of race, color, ethnicity, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, ability, personal appearance, or religious/spiritual affiliation.
