Dear Beloved Educators and Friends,

With a full and grateful heart, I want to share an invitation that feels very close to the spirit of our shared work.

The Thich Nhat Hanh School of Interbeing is currently seeking founding educators to help bring a new model of contemplative education into being. These roles are truly a “right livelihood” opportunity for teachers who long to align their practice, their values, and their daily work with a vision of education rooted in presence, compassion, and interconnection.

We are currently inviting applications for:

These founding roles will help “co-create the school’s first classrooms and lay the foundation for its culture, curriculum, and daily rhythms,” and are ideal for experienced educators who bring both strong classroom expertise and a steady mindfulness practice.

The School of Interbeing is rooted in the teachings of Thich Nhat Hanh and the understanding that our work in education can be in service of the Earth and all living beings, an aspiration captured beautifully in his reminder that our livelihood can be of benefit to the world.

If you or someone you know feels called to help build a learning community grounded in presence, belonging, and compassionate action, I warmly invite you to explore these opportunities:

You can learn more about each role here:

Please direct all inquiries and application materials to:

(Kindly note that applications are being routed through this email not to me personally.)

If you know a teacher whose heart and practice would flourish in a setting like this, please feel free to share widely. These are rare opportunities to help shape a school from its very first breath.

With gratitude for the work you do in the world,
Meena
