You’re warmly invited to a free webinar exploring the future of mindfulness in education and its role in our collective well-being.

Educating for Interbeing brings together three longtime leaders in contemplative practice and education, Jon Kabat-Zinn, Kaira Jewel Lingo, and Brother Phap Luu, in conversation moderated by myself, Meena Srinivasan.

Guiding Question: In an age when powerful technological and social forces are pulling children toward isolation and fear, how do we educate the next generation to experience interbeing, our deep connection to one another and to the natural world?

This conversation will explore:

  • Why educating for interbeing matters now

  • The role of mindfulness, compassion, and community in schooling

  • How contemplative education can support student and educator well-being

  • What it means to design schools that integrate inner development, academic learning, and ecological responsibility

The event also marks the global launch of the Thich Nhat Hanh School of Interbeing, an emerging K–8 laboratory school opening in Southern California and designed to share its learnings globally.

This gathering may be of interest to educators, school leaders, teacher educators, researchers, and anyone engaged in mindfulness-based, contemplative, or whole-child education.

Please feel free to share with colleagues and networks who may be interested.

With care,
Meena Srinivasan, Founding Board Member & Parent, Thich Nhat Hanh School of Interbeing
