Maps cannot be read after OS update

Hi Dat:

I recently updated my BB Curve 8330 OS 4.5 to a minor OS update.
Afterwards, I could not read any of my maps. When I opened the folder
on my PC, I removed the name extension .rem, keeping only the .mind
extension. Then I could see the maps on BB. I tried to open the maps.
I got error message "Error when load file: A JSONObject text must
begin with '{' at character 1 of ......".

Is there a way to recover these maps? I hate to lose them.

I installed version 1.2.2 and kept the .rem extension. I can recover
all my maps now.
