I'm trying to move MindBerry mind maps automatically between
Blackberry and Freemind on my desktop as seemlessly as possible. I'm
using SugarSync to do that.
From blackberry to desktop:
Create/edit mindmap in mindberry.
Export map to documents folder as .mm
Open SugarSync blackberry app
Select syncronized folder to upload to
Select "Upload local file"
Pick recently saved .mm file
I wish that files I placed in a folder would be uploaded
automatically; unfortunatly the blackberry sugarsync app doesn't work
that way. I guess it assumes this kind of file management only happens
on desktops/laptops.
From desktop to blackberry:
Save file to SugarSync shared folder.
In blackberry sugarsync client, navigate to location of file.
Click file to open. This fails: SugarSync can't figure to open
mindberry to read .mm files.
Open mindberry, open file: Device Memory/home/user/SugarSync/tmp_cache/
filename.mm
Is there any way to make SugarSync use MindBerry to open .mm files?
That would remove one step.
Overall this seems to be the easiest way to move mind maps to and from
the desktop.
Thanks
Gord
