I was also looking into this.
Over the last years we saw boards like RaspberryPi getting more powerful, but since they run on arm64, there's no installer file for Minarca (server and/or client). Wondering if it's due to some limitation or just never tried out.

Hi Yariv,

I don't have any plans to support arm64 on Linux at the moment due to Arm64 limited hardware availability. The only hardware widely available is a raspberry pi and it's not powerful enough to be a serious backup solution. and it's not performing well enough either for the continuous integration testing required for Minarca development.

That said, it should be possible for you to install and compile minarca-server on arm64 devices, but you are on your own.

I've been playing with this because wanted so bad this to my setup and think that made it work. At least have been running this for some weeks and didn't found any issue so far.

My setup is a Raspberry Pi 5 that just runs Minarca server and the data is stored on 2 SSDs in RAID10. For clients currently have 2 Raspberry Pi 5, one with K3s server (to backup the K3s token and db) and another that acts as a NFS server with 4 SSDs in RAID10 (where i'm backing up data from my Nextcloud, Vaultwarden and more).

If anyone want to take a look and play with it, here are the links. https://github.com/JoaoPPCastelo/minarca-server-arm64 and https://github.com/JoaoPPCastelo/minarca-client-arm64

There's still some work to do (cleaning up pipelines, document changes and keep the base code for Minarca up-to-date)

Added some print screens for fun
