தஞ்சாவூர் சுற்றுலா வளர்ச்சி குழுமம் சார்பில் தஞ்சாவூர் மாவட்ட ஆட்சித் தலைவர் திரு. தீபக் ஜேக்கப் இ.ஆ.ப அவர்களின் வழிகாட்டுதலில் தஞ்சாவூர் மாவட்டத்தின் சிறப்புகளையும், பெருமைகளையும் எடுத்துக் கூறும் வகையில் கடந்த 01.01.2024 முதல் வாரம் தோறும் பல்வேறு பாரம்பரிய நிகழ்வுகள் நடத்தப்பட்டு வருகிறது.
இதில் பிரதி மாதம் முதல் ஞாயிற்றுக்கிழமை மரபு நடைபயணம், இரண்டாவது சனிக்கிழமை பாரம்பரிய சொற்பொழிவு, மூன்றாவது சனிக்கிழமை தஞ்சாவூர் கைவினைப் பொருட்கள் செய்முறை விளக்கம், நான்காவது சனிக்கிழமை கிராமிய கலை நிகழ்ச்சிகள் தொடர்ந்து நடத்தப்பட்டு வருகிறது.

நூல் திறனாய்வு நாள்
மாணவர்களே மாணவர்களுக்காக ஒவ்வொரு ஞாயிற்றுக்கிழமை மாலை 5:30 மணிக்கு சூம் இணைய வழியே புத்தக திறனாய்வு செய்கிறார்கள்.
இன்று இரண்டாவது நிகழ்ச்சி மாலை நடைபெற உள்ளது.

The two-days Second World Tamil Language Development and Research Conference, is jointly organized by the International Academy of Tamil Language and Culture, Madras Development Society and Centre for Development of Tamil in Engineering and Technology, Anna University, Chennai will be held on 12t hand 13th of August 2024 at Vivekananda Auditorium, Anna University (Guindy Campus), Chennai from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.
The First World Tamil Development Conference was held on August 12, 2023, in Tamil Nadu Open University, Chennai in collaboration with the International Academy of Tamil Language and Culture, Madras Development Society, Chennai and the Department of Cultural and Tamil Studies, Tamil Nadu Open University, Chennai. The conference was divided into three sessions, and papers were read and presented in three halls. Cultural programs were held on behalf of the Tamil Nadu Art, Music and Drama Society.

The theme of this conference to be held this year will evaluate the multi faceted development of Tamil language and literature and the status of Tamil in modern technology. Topics will include Art, Music, Drama Tamil, Scientific Tamil, Legal Tamil, Medical Tamil, Media Tamil, Tamil in the field of artificial intelligence, and the development of Tamil language and literature. With a future aim, it is planned to read and present research articles on projects, activities, and initiatives for the development of Tamil language in the above fields. It is also planned to read and present articles on various topics like usage of tamil in Arts and Science Colleges, Engineering Colleges Indian and Foreign Universities.
Therefore, research papers are invited from Tamil scholars, Researchers, Tamil activists in Tamil Nadu, neighboring states, foreign countries and research students.All papers will be reviewed and only quality papers will be given opportunity to be read at the conference and published as research article with an ISBN. Contributors are requested to note the following guidelines.
