உச்சரித்துப் பார்க்கச் சரியாகத் தெரியவில்லையே.

நாவின் விளிம்பு கீட்பல்லின் உட்பகுதியை வருடினால் சரியாக இருக்கிறது.

இது நாக்கு நுனியை மேல்வாயின் உட்பல்லை தொடுகையில் ஏற்படும் உச்சரிப்பாகும்.

ஆனால் அங்கும் உச்சரிப்பு முறை மாறியுள்ளது

நீங்கள் சொல்வது ஒரு எழுத்தைச் சொல்லும் முறை. அது சரியே.

ஆனால், இங்கே தொல்காப்பியம் வரையறுப்பது எழுத்தை உச்சரிக்கும் முறை. 

இ - உச்சரிக்கும்போது, வாய் முழுதும் திறக்காது, அகலப்பாட்டிற்குப் போவதை உணரலாம். ஆனால், நாக்கின் விளிம்பு அண்ணப்பற்களை வருடவில்லை. அது தான் எனக்கு விளங்கவில்லை.

As for me - start from the reverse again.. "I" touched the Mel kadavai parkalin orangal.. "A" touched atharku miga munbaga.. "E" touched atharkum miga munbaga..

இ - என்று உச்சரிக்கும் போது  வாய் முழுவதும் திறக்காது.அகலப்பாட்டில் சிறிது திறக்கும்.ஒலி கண்டத்திலிருந்து வரும்..

ஆனால்  இ னா என்று உச்சரிக்கும்போது நாக்கு மேல்வாய் பற்கள் ஆரம்பிக்கும் முரசைத் தொடுகிறது.

இன்னமும் தொல்காப்பியத்தில்  உள்ள சில சொற்கள் யாழ்ப்பாண பேச்ச வழக்கில் இருக்கின்றன.உவ்விடம், அவ்விடம்  என்பன சில .இலங்கையில் தமிழ்ப் பண்பாடு என்ற நூலில் வாசித்த ஞாபகம்.

மாமாவை அம்மான் என்றும் அக்காவை 'அக்கை' என்றும் சிலர் கூப்பிடுவார்கள். எனது தந்தையின் அக்காவின் பிள்ளைகள் எனது தந்தையை அம்மான் என்று கூப்பிடுவார்கள்.எனது தந்தையும் தனது தமக்கையாரை அக்கை என்று கூப்பிடுவார்.(அழைப்பார் என்பதே கூப்பிடுதல்)

இரவை அண்மிக்கும் காலத்தை ' பொழுதுபடுது' என்று சொல்லும் பழக்கம்  என்னூரில் இன்னமும் உண்டு.
