Iwas one-shotted by a mage with 1.2m HP who critted me for over 180k whilst her normal hits were 60-90k. I soon quit the whole ghastly experience. There was a also a giant pala who could not be damaged.
agreed i used what aoe abilities i had before dying
it helped other players were being focused/killed before dying myself i had the world quest at 75%
this is black rook rumble but bigger and odd i like it
How I did my quest: I tried doing it legit, but just ended up getting one shoted. I then server hoped through the warmode on cobalt groups, built max buffs, went back there and destroyed all the 2mil hp players. After that, server hoped on more quests in order to help the horde do the quest and take revenge on the alliance. Got plenty of reports and angry whispers from them, some even calling me a hacker, but oh well, such is the nature of wmode.
yes but we still miss these trophies of strife?
you can trade in the 366 drakebreaker blue gear with them for ilvl 385 epics
very odd to see someone with said ilvl 385 shoulder
when wowhead has no page/source you get this from
got my reply ability back together with switching between ffxiv and DF
Its not bugged, at beggining of exploding crystals field, Their is a shimmering box, stand inside and you will receive a Fragile buff, get too The Vortex crystal and it kills in instantly, Hope this solves the problem for you guys.
Story bugged for me too at the Malevolent Memory . Vortex Crystal is inside the color (it was the red one) and wont take any damage. The Fragile buffs are all inside the instant death fields and Marjorie seems stuck standing in the middle of that as well whacking away at the Vortex Crystal. When I get the color buff I can go in but I seemed to stop doing any damage to MM once I got him down to a certain point and it would not go any further. My hands finally wore out and I gave up.
I had the same frustrating experience with the Hidden Arcane. I am not sure if the first three bosses worked as they should be but the last one definitely did not. Several times I had all crystals spawn inside deadly AoE and the last 25% of the boss I had shields but no crystals. The crystals were probably in the wall. Marjory, my pet and me managed to kill it in the end, but this story part took me 2 hours. No fun!
I was getting the same problem as well. I did the same thing as you did. I tried many other solutions to get around to it and the Malevolent Memory is unkillable. It damaged all of my armors and still unable to kill the boss. I believe it is still a bug. Took me three hours trying to beat it and could not do it. It is now midnight then I gave up and wait until Anet fix this.
I am assuming you killed the Summoned Facet (little guy) and got the colored aura but then you ALSO have to get the Fragile bubble while you have the colored aura on and THEN run to the light to take out the vortex (stand till vortex takes the fragile debuff and one hit usually takes it down). Color of the aura and the light do have to match. I had one run where I got a different color so I waited that out and tried again when I got the next which had the right color.
We found ourselves trapped in the lair and tried jumping off a platform to our deaths. That took us to the beginning of the zone completely, trapping us. We had to map out. Now, we will have to start the quest over, again.
whats wrong with your game? I tried to do the hidden arcana 3 times now and each time I finish it, the game freezes, I cant regroup, cant talk and finish the cut scene, no reward, no nothing. I also had trouble with the facet and the color fragile bubble, but I managed with them being in the same spot. It took me over an hour each time. This was earlier this week. How many times do I have to do the hidden arcana before I get credit for it?
So maybe i had first get the green buff, wait until it was nearly worn off, get the fragile
then, and try to kill it when the green buff went down but i had still the fragil ?
However i think that the red rings of death then instantly would have killed me.
The Quest Counter is the place for slayers (players) to take on requests from various clientele who request you to either hunt specific monsters or collect items. The Slayers Guild tests applicants through its aptitude test, which is the first quest the player has to do. As slayers rank up, they can access new quests and chapters that are tougher than the previous.
Quest details appear to the right of the navigation pane and display the quest's background (either quoted text from a letter the player read or, if the quest did not come by mail, a description of the quest) and a checkbox list of conditions for completion.
The player can choose one quest to track at a time by hovering over the quest in the navigation pane and pressing the Interact button. This can be any quest not yet completed. The checklist for a tracked quest will appear in the top right corner next to the mini-map and clock.
There is also an option to stop tracking quests by pressing the Interact button one more time while hovering over the currently tracked quest. This will hide the tracked quest UI from the in-game interface.
After the initial tutorial quests have been completed, main quests come one at a time, and a new main quest is received upon completion of the previous one, most often after interacting with Huckleberry to turn in a main quest.
Side quests are primarily obtained by crow-like Mailbirds, which land on the mail perch to the right of Abraham's landing pad. Mailbirds can arrive anytime and will remain on the perch until the player interacts with a Mailbird to read the letter it brought. If all perch spaces are occupied by Mailbirds, no new mail can be received.
There is one continuous side quest that does not appear in the Objectives log. Every 7 in-game days, the player receives a request from the Little Rock Town Council to send a specific crop grown on the Homestead in exchange for doubled payment per item sent. Typically requested crops are Corn, Corn Stalk, Cotton Boll, and Lavender.
The player can send up to 24 items per in-game day using the Package Hutch by preparing 12 items before Abraham arrives at 6am (and picks up all outbound packages), then preparing another 12 items before Abraham leaves at 11am (and picks up outbound packages for the second time).
Main Story quests are initially given by Huckleberry to serve as a game tutorial and later to guide the player through the first area covered in Miasma. These require the player to report back to Huck upon completion. After the first area is cleared, the Main Story quests are technically self-assigned as the Homesteader wishes to delve deeper into the Miasma. While Huckleberry doesn't approve of this course of action, he initially guides the player through main objectives, but eventually the player has to figure out the next steps on their own with the goal of cleansing the world free of the fog.
Most side quests come from Little Rock Anonymous (LRA), a club in the player's hometown that helps town citizens "receive goods not deemed 'necessary' by Town Council" (according to the first LRA letter). The first LRA letter arrives shortly after the player ventures into the Miasma in the Pearl Canyon and finds Aunt Tilly's grill.
