Gallery Opening and Poetry Reading this Sunday Afternoon

Greetings Jewish Poetry Lovers (or Lovers of Jewish Poetry),

I wanted to let you all know about an exciting event taking place this
Sunday, September 19th. It's the opening to the new art show, Terror:
Artists Respond and it features a ton of amazing American and Israeli
artists including work from this past year's issue of Mima'amakim.

In addition, the event will play host to the worldwide shofar flash
mob that is taking place on Sunday afternoon (http://www.facebook.com/
event.php?eid=130613180371255). If that sounds like a sight to behold,
it probably will be. Bring your own shofar and join in.

And last, but certainly not least, there will be poetry on the topic
of terror with readings from longtime Mima'amakim contributors Matthue
Roth, Dena Weiss and Aaron Roller (that's me), spoken word phenomenon
Daphne Gottlieb, and downtown poetry legend Steve Dalachinsky.
