Dear all,

I would like to thank you to those who have sent their writings for the school book. They had to spend their precious time for the extra work. Through their words, we understand how you appreciate our programs, our efforts and contributions to the programs have been paid off.

Attached is the draft of the school book. My tasks now are mainly to "copy and paste" and to make some changes since I really do want the school book is managed by yourselves and I am just the person who help you to link them all. Of course, when the final version comes, there will be a lot of modifications.

I'm sending you the 1st draft and asking your opinions on the format, the display, the content... Any suggestions, comments are more welcome.

Your propositions on the improvements of MiM programs will be collected all then send to the person in charge of the program but I would like to thank you in advance for your great help. Some of you mentioned about the extra-curriculum activities during your study. You'll also find in this draft the vivid example of group 2009-2010. In order to promote the action among students, we are planning to issue a "newsletter" to inform and help MiM students get better information on the MiM activities.

Concerning the name of the book, normally in the US or UK, they have a "year book" containing the souvenirs, photos, comments, etc from students, like Jeong Rim said. What about ours: MiM's Times, MiM's year book, or what's else? Do you have any suggestion for the name of this book?

I'm still waiting for more writings from you. Thanks again.

To William: It seems to me that I don't have a right to send to MiM1 group. Please help me to forward my email to your classmates. Thank you very much.

Have a great day all.

Dear Kim-anh,

Thanks for the School book.  There is one thing about my statement: "When I think of MIM-CNAM, I recall the warm-hearted and kind teachers and my Chinese classmates."  The reason I wrote "Chinese classmates" is because that all my classmates are Chinese and I wanted to give a piece of advice about the cultural diversity in the classes.  But if you put this sentence on the book without the following advice, it may be interpreted as a racist expression, which is not what I meant.  So I request either a deletion of the word "Chinese" in that sentence, or an addition of the following advice about the multi-culture issue.  Thank you for your time and patience.

Best regards.

Zhang Wenye

Dear Zhang Wenye,

If so I'll decide to delete the word "Chinese" since the nationality of MiM programs now is not only Chinese (as you see in the 1st page, part Introduction). I'm still waiting for your photo. Send it to me right away so that I can add it into the year book.

Thanks again and have a nice day.
