Abusive Judges

Here is a sad discussion of an abusive Judge that has ruined a puppy.

OMG, that woman needs to be bitch slapped!! How awful. Sorry for the
language, but that was horrible, even to my rank amateur eyes.

So, why are these handlers putting up with this judge's behavior?
WHY!? The handlers who
are standing by, watching this happening to their own dogs, are just
as much to blame as the judge who is doing
this unnecessary abusive "examination".

If that had been my dog, I would have told that judge to get her hands
off and back off, NOW, and if she hadn't,
I would have grabbed her hands and taken them off my dog. That would
not have been the end of it, either.

I agree, Lisa, but sometimes, I guess people are in shock, and paralyzed
by it. I am with you, she and every official there would have heard
from me.

Wow! I am in shock.

I have had judges be a little heavy handed, but nothing like that. Not to mention it is just a maltese? puppy. I hope she has had her license to judge pulled.

It was her second time in the ring for the girl showing the puppy and
dhe wasn't sure what to do. The puppy is pretty much ruined from
showing again for a long time if ever.

With the help of other exhibitors she has now filed a formal complaint
and hopefully this Judge will lose her licence. N

How sad.

There is no reason for a judge to be that heavy handed. Not only are the dogs thinking, feeling beings, but this is a hobby for the exhibitors...for fun. That judge intimidated and bullied the dog and the owner.

I can't see the video, either they've pulled it or for some bizarre reason it won't let me see it in NL.  Can someone quickly check if they removed it or if it's just me?  Thanks

Andrea, it won’t play for me now, either.  I get some weird chat stuff going on below the video frame, and a lot of explanatory Spanish that I understand about 5% of.
