It's been 2 years since I've had any pups around here, but I'm hoping to break that streak soon.

"Goodie" Glacieridge Goodie Two Shoes was bred to Ch Glacieridge Husker Du

"Sydney" Ch Cherry Creek Desert Jules Outback just flew out today to be bred to Sammy http://www.toorayterriers.com/Toorayterriers.com/Sammy_Slide.html

I had all but given up hope for getting the out of state breeding made as the weather has been as crappy as it's been in years.  We've had snow something like 40 of the last 50 days and continually below average temps (low enough the airlines won't ship dogs), but someone upstairs was looking out for me today.  Sydney is ready, and the weather broke (for 1 day), so Sydney made it out!

Hi Sara

Premature Congratulations are in order! I hope all goes PERFECTLY. I
like Husker Du and I think he deserves to have some children of his
own to raise.

I have not had a litter for 6 years, yet I too have a "plan." Dee Dee
is here and she is to be bred to the Sketcher Dude. Kiera is also in
heat and I just learned about it today. ***IF*** she is not too far
along, she will be bred to Guinness. The complication is, I cannot
get him until after the weekend. So we will see how that goes.

I am so excited! Just think, all the puppies will be ready for
imprinting at the same time, toward the end of May. What a party that
will be!

I'm so jealous of the Airedale pups, I'd love one, though unfortunately not the right timing for me.

First, thank you so much for the photos. Ruby and I really enjoyed
them. I hope you are enjoying your life these days and your dogs are
doing well. Then one day, when the time is right, you may really
enjoy one of the big guys.

Sara

My schedule probably won't be cleared but there will be lots of time
to enjoy puppies. I wonder if I will have to "force" the veterans to
spend time watching them play?

And Montgomery for me will probably not be happening but if you stop
by with a couple of extra crates, I will bring them in from out back
and you can take them with you.

I am already excited and the girls are not even bred yet.

Keep repeating: Every day is one day closer to spring.

Andrea,

You would enjoy an Airedale, and after raising both a Lakeland and a
Welsh,
you have learned so much about how to raise a good dog. One day!

A Sketcher puppy... wow. That Sketcher really caught my eye- just an
all-around
nice dog.

Pat knows I have a problem with coveting her dogs :)

Dee Dee and Sketcher should be a nice cross. Lacey and Willie made
some really nice babies - Lacey was Dee Dee's littermate and Willie is
Sketcher's 1/2 brother, if I remember correctly. Dee Dee was such a
good momma - raising her and Lacey's pups for me. It will be nice for
her to have another litter. She had such an easy time whelping her
first time...I'm sure it will go well again for you.

Pat - good luck with the Airedale breeding as well!

Sara - congratulations are due you as well. I hope you have some
beautiful puppies! I'm glad the weather broke for you to send your
girl out.

Good luck on finding the right homes for your pups, too. I still have
Mr. Emmett here that needs a home - so if you find anyone looking an
older pup...let me know!
