Ida - Video - PUREBRED's story...

This dog is looking for a forever home and is available for adoption. Molly's Mutts and Meows has offered a courtesy posting to help this dog in need. This rescuer has also been invited to show the available animal with us at our Saturday adoptions in West Hollywood.

If you would like to meet Ida or her brother Davey, we really need you to fill out an application FIRST. You can easily fill one out online at www.mollysmuttsandmeows.org. Click here to go to application page. We will forward it to her contact, Bill Burns. You can also call Bill and tell him you saw Ida or Davey's posting on Molly's Mutts & Meows website and speak to him directly. His phone number is 646-382-4066. His email is Bill Burns at  beac...@prodigy.net

You can see Ida live in the video below posted on You Tube.  We took this video at one of our adoption days.

Respected owner / breeder / handler must find loving homes for his remaining Lakeland Terriers. Both have typical cute, inquisitive & playful Lakeland personalities. They love people, running in the yard and fetching balls. They walk well on leash and behave perfectly in the car. Having grown up as show dogs in a professional kennel, they are probably best suited for a single dog household without small children, but have years of love and companionship to give. There is “Diablo,,' but we are changing his name to 'Davey' on this write-up because who wants to name a dog after the devil?  He is a 6 yr. old male.  “Ida” is an 8 yr. old female.

Both are spayed / neutered & shots are current. Call for a meet & greet! Please call (646) 382-4066 (Bill Burns) if you are interested in meeting Ida or Davey. Serious & loving inquiries only please.

Please note:  Molly's Mutts & Meows' mission is to RESCUE animals from the city shelters (and sometimest the streets).  We do not condone breeders and the selling of animals as merchandise.  So much of the time it leads to situations like Ida's and her brother Davey's.

Our dog adoption application can be found right here:  Click here to go to application page.  Be as complete as you can and don't be shy! We like to know a lot about the homes for our critters. Aafter we get it, we'll respond within 24 hours. (We're all volunteers and work full-time, so be patient with us. We will respond, I promise!) We also have a printable PDF version of our application. If you fax it in, be sure to write 'Ida' at the top. You may want to call us to double-check that we received it. Our phone number is 310-837-MUTT.

Thank you for making adoption your first option for mutts like Ida.
Click here to donate to our adoption option cause.

About Our Rescue Group...
Molly's Mutts and Meows is a non-profit animal rescue organization. Our goal is to help animals from the Los Angeles area shelters find loving, new forever homes. We work independently, but also partner, pull and place animals with other reputable 501c3 rescue groups and individual rescuers in the community. We believe the more local rescue people effectively communicate with each other, the more effectively we will be able to help those that cannot speak for themselves.

Come Meet Our Pets...
Normally, we have our adoptions at The West Hollywood Park on the first three Saturdays of the month from 12 PM to 3 PM. We set up on the grassy portion on Robertson Blvd. just south of Santa Monica Blvd. On the first and third Saturdays of the month, we partner with Best Friends Animal Society. They are also at the West Hollywood Park showing available dogs and cats that are looking for loving new homes. Please check our website mollysmuttsandmeows.org to confirm we will be there on a specific date. We hope to see you in West Hollywood!

Karen,

Bill is placing them and looking for homes near him.  Thank-you so much for the offer and all your continued support.  I really appreciate it, as does the club.

Laurie,

There were a couple of dogs that were good with other dogs that were adopted out very quickly.  I thought of the guy near you for those, and that is probably what you were thinking of.  These 2 needed a little more training and will likely need a one dog household with somone willing to continue training.
