to Manners In Minutes Dog Training: Using the Q-collar
Oh my!! I have to add the recount of my end of the conversation!
I tried to call Ruby and no answer...must have been 2 minutes later my
phones rings and all I hear is huffing and puffing on the other end.
I'm figuring what the 'bleep' is going on? I haven't had an obscene
phone call in so long....so I said again, hello?
This voice on the other end sounded something like Linda Blair in "The
Excorcist" yet still huffing and puffing! I admit I was getting a
little concerned :-)
I hear, I just killed her! Now I'm REALLY trying to figure out who is
on the phone! I said, what? Again, 'the voice' said, I just killed my
dog! I realize now that Linda Blair isn't calling me, it's Ruby!
Then all the scenarios are running thru my head......slippery
driveway, Ruby ran over the poor dog! Slippery yard, Ruby fell on her
and killed her!
Then, I finally said, Ruby! What's happened?! She said, I just beat my
dog and thru her in her crate! Now, Ruby has had many dogs over the
years and I have to admit my mind was blank from the terror the last
30 seconds on the phone and she kept referring to "my dog"! I had to
ask her who she was talking about!!
Finally the huffing and puffing subsided and we started to have a
conversation...30 second roller coaster ride and I was exhausted!
We talked for a few minutes and she told me that she was returning to
Quansa and I couldn't be happier...happy for Ruby, happy for Pat and
Kenny and happy for all those future puppies that "Nanny Ruby" tends
to so lovingly.
Now after hearing this story, next time you see Ruby, ask her about
Tommy (or maybe it was Clint) and the training building....she's got a
million of 'em! lol
Rushing around with Christmas errands, finishing baking and getting
hair cut is on my agenda for the day but I wanted to take time to wish
everyone...
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone!!
