Hi everyone,

I apologize for the last minute notice but I have to cancel the canvas workshop this Thursday. My cat has gone missing and my evenings will consist of walking the neighborhood for the foreseeable future.  Again, so sorry for the last minute notice.

Caitlin;  Sorry to hear that.  I have cats and I know how that feels.  Be sure to go out to MADACC frequently to check in person.  Make lost cat posters and hand out to all your neighbors, as well as posting at local vets and pet shops and MADACC.  Leave the used litterbox or a piece of clothing you've worn outdoors to give your cat a scent-trail to follow to find it's way back.  If you cat is spotted but is too freaked out to come to you, I have  live-traps I can loan you.  Want help?

Update: So, my little jerk of a cat was waiting by the front door when we got home from work. 
So relieved that he's back home and you know, not squashed by a car on Holton. Thanks for all the kind words and advice!

I feel really lucky because my friends who have lost cats never saw their cats again.

Some time ago I purchased a few Loc8tor tags, and a tracking device for them as a kit -for a friend whose life is periodically punctuated by hours of turning over everything to find his keys -think I paid $80 on Ebay when I did, maybe a bit pricey, maybe not.
  My friend has admitted to using it find to his keys twice so far.  -the Loc8tor people actively market this to pet owners.

Glad to hear he's safe.  Next time we're both down at the Maker's Space, I'd love to hear the whole story.  By the way, we've had several people (including a newcomer who was coming for the class) express hope that the session will be re-scheduled.
